Is it being held at your office or somewhere else? If it%26#039;s at the office, I%26#039;d think your business attire would be fine.

If it%26#039;s somewhere else (like a restaurant), call the venue and ask for advice.

where is the party? if its at work, office casual is fine, maybe with a bit of this years lace on your top, but if its a sit down dinner elsewhere, find out where it will be. Make a judgement based on where they are having it.

A black skirt with a rufflle and a lacy blouse should work for most situations. Just vary your jewelery and how low you button the blouse depending on where it will be at.

Are you invited to his office party? Ask him. Try to make a good impression for him. His bosses will be checking you out. Much better to go on the classy side than to attract attention by looking too slutty. No low necklines. No stilettos. Mortgage companies are pretty conservative. I would disagree with the black skirt/white top answer. They may think you are the hired help. Colorful would be fine.
